SPECIAL SERVICE: KEITH JACKSON

Keith Jackson will be giving a special service Sunday Oct. 24th.

Keith Jackson's website says the following:

"In 1988, the Philadelphia Eagles selected Keith as the thirteenth pick of the first round in the National Football League draft. Keith made an immediate impact on the Eagles team and the NFL during his rookie season. Keith recorded 81 receptions for 869 yards and 6 touchdowns in his first season, along with 7 catches for 142 yards in the Eagles only playoff game that year, and was the NFC offensive rookie of the year and the only first year player to be selected by the NFL for the Pro Bowl. In his nine seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, the Miami Dolphins, and Green Bay, Keith made the pro bowl 5 times (1988-1990, 1992, 1996). In his final season Keith recorded 40 receptions for 505 yards and career high 10 touchdowns, assisting the Packers to a 13-3 record and a win in Super Bowl XXXI."

"Before retiring from the NFL, Keiths heart was touched by the violence and turmoil the youth of this nation was facing. He felt that someone needed to do something to keep from losing the leaders of tomorrow to senseless crimes and death. Little did he realize that a special vision would be given to him by God. He spent much of his time off of the field promoting the vision entrusted to him developing an academic center that would give the youth in his hometown of Little Rock, hope, strong values, and academic confidence. In 1992, this vision became a reality with the incorporation of P.A.R.K. (Positive Atmosphere Reaches Kids). One of P.A.R.K.s' missions is to have an atmosphere built on nuturing, love, and discipline. Through GODs' supervision and blessings Keith has been able to expand his vision and open another P.A.R.K. foundation in Oklahoma. P.A.R.K. became a non-profit organization under his leadership as President of the Board. Keith not only puts his name and personal money into the program; he also puts in countless hours with the youth of this program."

We are very excited about this sermon and we know that Keith will have a really great message. Please invite friends and family to take part in this special service with us.
