The Case For Christ

Our pastor, Ben Anderson, will be leading a nine week study on The Case For Christ by Lee Strobel.

Atheist-turned-Christian Lee Strobel is a New York Times best-selling author of nearly twenty books. He was a professional journalist for 14 years at The Chicago Tribune and other newspapers, winning Illinois' top honors for investigative reporting.

After a nearly two-year investigation of the evidence for Jesus, Lee received Christ as his forgiver and leader in 1981. 

In A Case For Christ, Strobel retraces his own spiritual journey from atheism to faith by cross-examining a dozen experts with doctorates from schools like Cambridge, Princeton, and Brandeis who are recognized authorities in their own fields.

Strobel challenges them with questions like How reliable is the New Testament? Does evidence for Jesus exist outside the Bible? Is there any reason to believe the resurrection was an actual event?

Step by step, Lee will take us on an investigation to determine if there is "credible evidence that Jesus of Nazareth really is the Son of God."

The first class will be on Tuesday August 31 from 7-8 pm in the church lobby. Classes will follow every Tuesday night through October 5.
